Delete Formula

Deleting an formula removes it from the system, ensuring it is no longer available for use. A formula cannot be deleted if it is currently used within the system.

Steps to Delete a Formula

  1. Navigate to the Formulas Section

    • Click on the Business Rules icon in the Primary Navigation Bar.

    • Click on the Formulas icon under the Business Rules Module.

    • The Formulas section will open, displaying the list of formulas in the Secondary Left Panel on the left side.

  2. Select the Formula to Delete

    • Hover over the formula you wish to delete in the Secondary Left Panel.

    • The kebab menu (three vertical dots) will appear next to the formula.

  3. Initiate Formula Deletion

    • Click the kebab menu (three vertical dots) next to the formula.

    • From the dropdown menu, select Delete.

  4. Confirm Deletion

    • If the formula is currently in use, the Delete option will be disabled, preventing deletion.

    • If the formula is not in use, a confirmation dialog will appear.

      • Click Delete to proceed with the deletion or Cancel to abort the operation.

If the formula is in use, the Delete option will be disabled, preventing accidental deletion.
