Delete Query

Deleting a query removes it from the system, ensuring it is no longer available for use. A query cannot be deleted if it is currently used within the system.

Steps to Delete a Query

  1. Navigate to the Queries Section

    • Click on the Queries icon in the Primary Navigation Bar.

    • The Queries section will open, displaying the list of queries in the Secondary Left Panel on the left side.

  2. Select the Query to Delete

    • Hover over the query you wish to delete in the Secondary Left Panel.

    • The kebab menu (three vertical dots) will appear next to the query.

  3. Initiate Query Deletion

    • Click the kebab menu (three vertical dots) next to the query.

    • From the dropdown menu, select Delete.

  4. Confirm Deletion

    • If the query is currently in use, the Delete option will be disabled, and you will not be able to proceed with the deletion.

    • If the query is not in use, a confirmation dialog will appear.

      1. Click Delete to proceed with the deletion or Cancel to abort the operation.

If the query is in use, the Delete option will be disabled, preventing deletion.
