Edit View

Editing a View allows updating its details, properties, and authorization settings. However, the name of the View cannot be changed once it has been created. Follow these steps to edit an existing View:

  1. Navigate to the Views Section

    • Click the Data icon in the Primary Navigation Bar.

    • From the expanded sections, select Entities.

    • In the Secondary Left Panel, locate and click on the entity that contains the View you want to edit.

    • Under the selected entity, click on Views. The list of Views for that entity will be displayed on the right side of the page.

  2. Select the View to Edit

    • Click on the name of the View you wish to edit from the listing table.

  3. Edit View Details

    • The "Edit View" drawer will open with the following fields:

      • Name

        • The name will be displayed but cannot be edited.

      • Description

        • Update the description of the View if needed.

      • Authorizations

        • Adjust the access controls for the View.

        • Refer to the Authorization section for more details on configuring authorization policies.

      • Properties

        • Modify the list of properties included in the View. You can:

          • Remove Properties: Click on the Bin icon next to any properties you no longer want to include.

          • Add Properties: Click on Add to open a selection menu and choose additional properties to include in the View.

  4. Save Changes

    • Click the Update button to apply your changes to the View.

The View’s name cannot be changed once it has been created.
