Add Workflow Action
The Workflow Builder tab empowers you to create sophisticated workflows that streamline tasks and optimize processes. Each step within the workflow is an actionable element, known as a workflow action, that can be seamlessly added to the builder. With this intuitive tool, you can design, customize, and automate sequences of actions, ensuring efficient management and execution of complex processes.
Steps to Add a New Step
Access the Workflow Builder
Navigate to the Workflow Builder tab under the Action page.
Open the Workflow Actions Panel
On the right side of the builder workspace, locate the Workflow Actions Panel. This panel contains all available workflow actions categorized by type (Entity Actions, Control Actions, Notification Actions, etc.).
Select an Action Category
Browse the action categories to find the type of action you want to add (e.g., Entity Action, Control Actions, etc.).
Choose an Action
Click on the specific action you wish to add. This action will be highlighted, and a brief description or configuration options appear.
Drag and Drop the Action
Drag the selected action from the Workflow Actions Panel and drop it into the workflow builder workspace. The action will be added as a new step in the workflow.
Configure the New Step
Once the action is added, the system will automatically open the related configuration drawer for that action.
Specify the required configuration fields for the action. Detailed configuration options for each workflow action will be listed under the Workflow Actions Configuration section.
Save the Configuration
After configuring the workflow action, click the Save button to apply the changes. This will finalize the addition of the new step to your workflow.
