Update User Role

The Update User Role workflow action allows you to modify the roles associated with a specific user in the system.

Key Configuration Fields

• Name

  • Enter a unique name for this workflow action.

  • Validation Rules:

    1. The name must be unique.

    2. The name length must be between 2 and 100 characters.

    3. The name cannot be empty.

    4. The name cannot include special characters, or spaces, or start with a numeric character.

• ID

  • A dynamic field to specify the ID of the user whose roles will be updated.

• Roles to Add

  • A multi-choice field that lists all defined roles in the system.

  • Note: Roles selected here will not be available in the Roles to Remove field.

• Roles to Remove

  • A multi-choice field that lists all defined roles in the system.

  • Note: Roles selected here will not be available in the Roles to Add field.

Behavior After Configuration

Nothing will be added to the context after updating the user role.

• Always Disabled: Name field

• Always Editable: ID, Roles to Add, Roles to Remove fields
