Delete Group

Deleting a group removes it from the system. A group cannot be deleted if it is currently in use.

Steps to Delete a Group

1. Navigate to the Groups Section

   • Click on the Security icon in the Primary Navigation Bar.

   • Select Groups to open the Groups section in the Secondary Left Panel.

2. Select the Group to Delete

   • Click on the desired group from the list in the Secondary Left Panel.

   • This will open the Group page on the right side of the panel.

3. Initiate Group Deletion

   • Hover over the group you wish to delete.

   • Click the kebab menu (three vertical dots) that appears next to the group.

     
4. Delete the Group

   • From the dropdown menu, select Delete.

   • If the group is currently in use, the delete option will be disabled.

   • If the group is not in use, a confirmation dialog will appear.

5. Confirm Deletion

   • In the confirmation dialog, review the details.

     
   • Click Delete to proceed with the deletion or Cancel to abort the operation.

Ensure that the group is no longer in use before attempting deletion.
