Delete Property

Deleting a property removes it from an entity. This action can only be performed if the property is not used elsewhere in the system.

Steps to Delete a Property

  1. Locate the Property

    • Navigate to the Entity page by selecting the entity from the Secondary Left Panel.

    • Ensure the Properties tab is open (this tab opens by default).

    • Locate the Property you wish to delete.

  2. Initiate the Delete Action

    • Hover over the Property item in the listing table.

    • Click on the "⋯" (Meatballs Menu) icon that appears next to the property name.

      • If the property can be deleted (i.e., it is not used elsewhere in the system), the delete action will be enabled. Click on "Delete" to proceed.

      • If the property is used elsewhere in the system, the delete action will be disabled and cannot be selected.

  3. Confirm the Deletion

    • A confirmation dialog will appear, asking you to confirm the deletion.

    • Click on Delete to confirm the deletion to remove the Property from the Entity.

  4. Completion

    • Once confirmed, the property will be removed from the entity and no longer appear in the list of properties under the Properties tab.

  • The Delete action will only be enabled if the property is not in use elsewhere in the system.

  • Deleting a property is irreversible. Ensure that you want to delete the property before confirming the action.
