Edit Expression

Editing an expression allows you to modify the logic or components within a dynamic field, helping you refine calculations, adjust conditions, or incorporate new variables as your needs evolve.

Steps to Edit an Expression

1. Open the Expression Assistant

   • Click on the dynamic input field containing the expression you want to edit. This action will trigger the Expression Assistant pop-up.

     
2. View the Current Expression

   • The existing expression will be displayed in the Builder Section of the pop-up, showing the components currently in use.

3. Modify the Expression

   • Change the expression by selecting different components from the Expressions Tab or Context Tab.

     • You can add new elements, remove existing ones, or rearrange components.

   • Update the calculations, conditions, or text to match your current requirements.

4. Rebuild the Expression

   • As you modify the expression, the Builder Section will update dynamically to reflect these changes in real time.

5. Save Changes:

   • After editing, click the Insert button in the Builder Section to apply the updated expression to the dynamic field.
