Edit Property

Editing a property within a configuration involves updating its attributes and characteristics. However, note that the name and type of the property are fixed and cannot be edited once set.

Steps to Edit a Property

1. Navigate to the Configuration Page

   • Click on the Data icon in the Primary Left Panel.

   • Select Configurations to open the Secondary Left Panel, displaying the list of defined configurations.

   • Click on the desired configuration from the list in the Secondary Left Panel.

   • The configuration page will open on the right side of the panel.

2. Initiate Property Editing

   • On the configuration page, ensure the Properties tab is open.

   • Locate and click on the property you wish to edit in the Properties listing section.

     
3. Update Property Details

   • An Edit Property drawer will open where you can modify the following details:

     • Description (optional)

       • Update the description if needed.

       • Validation Rules:

         1. The description length should be between 0 and 400 characters.

     • Other Attributes:

       • Update attributes specific to the selected type, such as Min Length for Text or Min Value for Decimal.

4. Submit the Changes

   • Click the Update button to save the updated property details.

     
   • The changes will be reflected in the Properties listing section of the configuration page.

The property name and type cannot be edited once they have been set.
