Edit Object

Editing an Object allows you to modify its description.

The Object Name cannot be changed once it is created.

Steps to Edit an Object

1. Navigate to the Objects Section

   • Click the Data icon in the Primary Left Panel to expand the menu.

   • Select Objects to open the Secondary Left Panel displaying the defined Objects list.

2. Initiate the Edit Process

   • From the Secondary Left Panel, hover over the object you want to edit.

   • Click on the kebab menu (three vertical dots) that appears.

   • Select the Edit option from the menu.

     
3. Modify Object Details

   • An Edit Object Drawer will open to update the object details:

     • Description

       • Provide an updated description between 0 and 400 characters long, detailing the object structure, contents, and purpose.

       • Validation rules:

         1. The description length should be between 0 and 400 characters.

4. Submit the Changes

   • Click the Update button to save the changes.

     
   • The updated object will reflect on the header of the Object page.
