Configure E-mail Template

Configuring the Email template allows you to define both the subject and the body of email notifications.

Steps to Configure an Email Template

  1. Navigate to the Email Tab

    • After selecting the notification from the Secondary Left Panel, the Notification page will be displayed.

    • Click on the Email tab in the Tabs & Actions Bar.

  2. Configure Email Subject

    • In the Subject field, enter the subject line for the email notification.

    • The Subject field uses a rich text editor where you can:

      • Insert Placeholders: Click the Placeholder dropdown list above the text area to select and insert placeholders into the subject line.

      • Insert Emojis: Click the emoji icon to add emojis to the subject line.

  3. Configure Email Body

    • In the Body field, enter the main content of the email notification.

    • The Body field uses a rich text editor with the following options:

      • Text Styling: Bold, Italic, Underline.

      • Colors: Set text and background colors.

      • Links: Insert hyperlinks directly within the body.

      • Images: Embed images into the email body.

      • Insert Placeholders: Click the Placeholder dropdown list above the text area to select and insert placeholders into the subject line.

      • Formatting: Additional formatting options such as lists, quotes, and alignment.

  4. Review and Save

    • Click the Save button in the Tabs & Actions Bar to save the email template.

  • Placeholders allow for the dynamic insertion of relevant information into the subject and body of the email.

  • Emojis can be used in the subject line to add a personal or engaging touch.
